What is Ayurveda?
Hailing from India and known as the mother of all systems of healing, the practice of Ayurveda is ancient and directly translates to the “science of life.” “Ayu” means “life” and “Veda” means “knowledge.” This system of healing greatly influenced and is closely related to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in respect to balancing out the elemental imbalances within each individual based on their own unique constitution. In this school of thought, medicine is believed to be everything we do to either enhance or reduce our senses because we are what we digest. Ayurveda brings special attention to the fact that more than simply digesting food, our overall health can be observed by how we use all 5 senses to digest our world. The way we digest our senses, emotions and feelings have direct connection to our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
What is Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coaching?
Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coaching teaches us understand our own unique individual nature so that we can live more authentically in alignment with our purpose. Diving deeper into knowing what serves us or holds us back from obtaining optimal wellness, together we will observe your diet, relationships (intimate and platonic), lifestyle choices, home life, the environment you live in, your exercise and daily routine to assess where any imbalances are so that we can realign your rhythm, focus, and attention.
Overall, Ayurveda advocates for a holistic approach to health that integrates exercise and mindfulness practices tailored to each individual's constitution, ultimately supporting optimal physical, mental, and emotional health.

The initial visit is a 15-30 minute free consultation to see if this is the best fit for you. Once we decide on the program we will continue accordingly with a prakruti and vikruti assessment in addition to a short clinical assessment.

Every month we will meet each week for an hour to set appropriate goals and reflect on the best way to improve your overall wellbeing by bringing you back to your own unique balance.
Month 1: We will focus primarily on restoring your Agni (digestive fire) and improving your digestion. We will also decide on proper exercise and mindfulness practices to support our mind and bony. Meetings will continue weekly.
Month 2: We will perfect your diet and nutrition and refine our daily routine to best support you mind, body and soul. Meetings will continue every two weeks.
Month 3: We will dive deeper into personal desires, goal setting, embodiment and manifestation. Meetings will continue every two weeks.
